The Cisco Lysaker Platform team are looking for an embedded platform engineer to join us. You will be working closely with other platform engineers as well as software, hardware and test engineers to develop the next Cisco collaboration video products.

Your Impact
You are a dedicated embedded developer, with skills within OS and hardware near software development. You are self driven, quality focused and enjoy working with other developers and teams. You will:

Work on OS layer software on our new and existing devices, offering a development platform and access to hardware services to our application teams
Focus on improvement, either it being related to an area, a piece of code or internal processes


Minimum Qualifications

  • A degree in relevant field (CS, CE, EE or similar)
  • Experience with relevant programming languages (C/C++/Rust/Python)
  • Experience with embedded Linux or Android development


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in developing software that makes efficient use of hardware resources.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: graphics or display development on Linux or Android; graphics programming (e.g., EGL, OpenGL, Qt); graphics and display pipelines; GPU programming; or working with hardware accelerators for video and graphics;
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English
