About the job

As a Senior Account Executive, you will be co-managing and growing SAS’ footprint with Bank of America.

This is a high profile role with a platinum customer and an exceptional team!

As a Senior Account Executive, you will:

• Sell software, solutions, and services to current and prospective customers by leveraging sales opportunities to acquire, grow, and retain accounts within your assigned territory.
• Prospect within assigned accounts to uncover business needs, qualify opportunities, and determine resources required for success.
• Implement territory and account management strategies, identifying high-potential accounts, advancing opportunities through the sales cycle, and forecasting timelines to close business.
• Collaborate with pre-sales resources, virtual sales teams, account managers, and executives to ensure timely responses to qualified, high-revenue leads and strategic account development.
• Develop and execute action plans to close business for high-potential accounts and further expand relationships within the territory.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
• Requires a minimum of eight years of software/SaaS sales experience.
• Must have a strong successful sales track record of selling into large global Banks.
• Must have previous experience selling into or working with Bank of America.
• We are looking for a hunter, a strong relationship manager, and a great team player.
• Must have a background in successfully navigating complex enterprise-level sales cycles in financial services.
• Ability to analyze and evaluate territory dynamics and develop a sales plan; ability to communicate technical and business concepts and relate them to SAS applications and user needs; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to travel up to 30%
• Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.

Additional Information

The base salary range for this position is $164,993 USD - $201,660 USD per year and is a good faith estimate only.  The range does not include any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  Actual pay will vary depending on factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.  Pay is just one component of SAS’s total compensation package for employees. Employees may also be eligible for commission or discretionary bonus (based on company and individual performance) as determined by the role.
