Enterprise Account Executive – Insurance and Asset Management Accounts – New York City

About the job

As an Enterprise Financial Services Account Executive, you will be managing and growing SAS' footprint with iconic named accounts in the Financial Services sector.

This is a high profile role with great accounts and an exceptional team!

As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will:

  • Sell software, solutions, and services to current and prospective customers by leveraging sales opportunities to acquire, grow, and retain accounts within your assigned territory.
  • Prospect within assigned accounts to uncover business needs, qualify opportunities, and determine resources required for success.
  • Implement territory and account management strategies, identifying high-potential accounts, advancing opportunities through the sales cycle, and forecasting timelines to close business.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales resources, virtual sales teams, account managers, and executives to ensure timely responses to qualified, high-revenue leads and strategic account development.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and contracts, working cross-functionally to finalize agreements and set delivery schedules.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience of related education), training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
  • Requires a minimum of five years of software/SaaS sales experience.
  • Looking for a hunter, who has a successful track record of selling complex technical solutions into financial services.
  • Must have previous experience selling software or technical solutions into a variety of Financial Institutes, preferably Insurance and Asset Management companies.
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate territory dynamics and develop a sales plan; ability to communicate technical and business concepts and relate them to SAS applications and user needs; navigate complex sales cycles and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
  • Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.

Additional Information

The base salary range for this position is $131,993 USD - $161,328 USD per year and is a good faith estimate only.  The range does not include any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  Actual pay will vary depending on factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.  Pay is just one component of SAS’s total compensation package for employees. Employees may also be eligible for commission or discretionary bonus (based on company and individual performance) as determined by the role.
