Descrizione
This role will focus on developing scalable offsite-manufactured and prefabricated infrastructure platforms that accelerate deployment, improve quality, reduce construction risk, and support OCI's rapidly growing cloud and AI capacity demands. You will serve as a senior technical leader and subject matter expert, partnering across design engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, construction, commissioning, and operations organizations to define the future of modular data center delivery.
This is a highly visible individual contributor role with broad influence on OCI's infrastructure roadmap, deployment strategy, and next-generation data center platforms.
What You'll Do
Modular Infrastructure Strategy & Engineering

Develop and drive OCI's modular infrastructure strategy for electrical, mechanical, controls, and utility systems.

Establish standardized modular design approaches that improve scalability, repeatability, and deployment speed.

Evaluate opportunities for prefabrication and offsite manufacturing across data center infrastructure systems.

Lead technical decision-making for modular architecture, interfaces, and deployment methodologies.
Design & Integration
-
Define engineering requirements and design standards for modular electrical rooms, e-houses, cooling plants, pump skids, power distribution systems, utility modules, and integrated infrastructure packages.

Ensure seamless integration of modular systems into OCI's data center design standards and operational requirements.

Review engineering designs, specifications, manufacturing drawings, and technical submittals.

Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, structural, controls, and network engineering teams to optimize modular solutions.
Manufacturing & Supply Chain

Partner with manufacturers, fabricators, and strategic suppliers to develop scalable modular products and solutions.

Evaluate manufacturing capabilities, production processes, and quality control programs.

Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), product validation, and manufacturing readiness reviews.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers to improve quality, cost, and deployment efficiency.
Deployment & Commissioning

Support transportation, site integration, installation, startup, and commissioning of modular infrastructure systems.

Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with modular deployment strategies.

Collaborate with construction and commissioning teams to improve field execution and deployment consistency.

Capture lessons learned and implement improvements across future deployments.
Innovation & Technical Leadership

Research emerging technologies and modular construction methodologies.

Influence OCI's long-term infrastructure roadmap through innovative engineering solutions.

Serve as a technical advisor for large-scale infrastructure programs and strategic initiatives.

Mentor engineers and contribute to the development of engineering best practices across OCI.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related technical field.
10+ years of experience in data centers, mission-critical facilities, industrial infrastructure, manufacturing, modular construction, or large-scale capital projects.
Experience designing or deploying prefabricated and modular infrastructure systems.
Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems, mechanical systems, cooling infrastructure, controls, or utility systems.
Experience working with manufacturing partners, fabricators, EPC firms, and commissioning teams.
Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical initiatives through influence and expertise.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting hyperscale cloud or AI data center infrastructure.
Knowledge of modular electrical substations, power skids, e-houses, cooling skids, central utility plants, or integrated infrastructure modules.
Experience with factory-built infrastructure solutions and offsite manufacturing processes.
Familiarity with BIM, Revit, AutoCAD, digital engineering, and design-for-manufacturing methodologies.
Experience supporting Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Integrated Systems Testing (IST), and commissioning programs.
Understanding of supply chain strategy, manufacturing scale-up, and global deployment models.
Experience supporting high-density AI/HPC infrastructure and advanced cooling technologies.
Certain U.S. based or U.S. customer or client-facing roles may be required to comply with applicable requirements, such as immunization/occupational health mandates, and/or drug testing requirements.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $146,300 to $306,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
