We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Healthcare Data and Analytics Manager to join our team and help drive our data-driven initiatives.

The Healthcare Data and Analytics Manager will be responsible for building and growing the team of analytics professionals, building a strong analytics data driven culture, establishing strong experimentation, dashboarding and insights competencies, collaborating with various departments, and ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and security of healthcare data and through that deliver outstanding business outcomes. This individual should be an experienced industry leader with skills in leveraging multiple current technologies, while expanding his/her knowledge on emerging technologies for different projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics, healthcare systems, and management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Management and Analysis:
    • Oversee the collection, storage, and analysis of healthcare data.
    • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security in compliance with relevant regulations.
    • Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and mentor a team of data analysts, data engineers and data scientists.
    • Provide training and support to team members on data analytics tools and methodologies.
  • Strategic Planning:
    • Collaborate with various internal & external stakeholders to develop and implement data-driven strategies.
    • Identify opportunities for using data analytics to improve clinical outcomes and operational efficiency.
    • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
  • Reporting and Visualization:
    • Create comprehensive reports and dashboards for various stakeholders.
    • Communicate findings and insights effectively to non-technical audiences.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with IT, clinical, and operational teams to understand data needs and provide solutions.
    • Foster a data-driven culture within the organization.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in healthcare analytics.
      • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data analytics capabilities.
  • Required experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Health Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analytics, with at least 3 years in a healthcare setting.
    • Proven experience in managing and leading a team.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in a relevant field.
    • Certifications in healthcare data analytics or related areas.
    • Experience with machine learning and predictive analytics.
    • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Expectations:
  • Willing to travel as needed
  • Willing to work addititonal or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in data analytics tools such as SAS, SQL, R, Python, Tableau, and other relevant software.
    • Strong understanding of healthcare data, including EMR/EHR systems, claims data, and clinical databases.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
    • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards, such as HIPAA.
