Descrizione

Credit Karma is a mission-driven company focused on championing financial progress for our more than 140 million members in the U.S., Canada and U.K. Our members turn to us as they work toward their financial goals — monitoring their credit, protecting their identity, finding credit cards, shopping for loans, and growing their savings — all for free.

We’re looking for a Director of Product Marketing & Research to lead PMM and Research across our Personal Finance and Money product areas. You’ll own the strategy and team, and execution behind how Credit Karma goes to market for key products and verticals — from segmentation and positioning to full-funnel GTM for major launches — while leading a high-performing organization of 20+ product marketers and researchers (across product & market research).

This is a senior people-leadership role for someone who can build a function, not just run one. You’ll set the strategic agenda for PMM and Research across two major product areas, grow and develop a team of ICs and managers, and serve as the connective tissue between Product, Growth, Brand, and Integrated Marketing — driving alignment at the senior leadership level.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do

  • Team leadership: Lead, hire, and develop a 20+ person org spanning Product Marketing and Research; build leaders, raise the talent bar, and instill a culture of ownership and high performance.

  • GTM strategy: Set the strategic direction for go-to-market across Personal Finance and Money — from opportunity sizing and segmentation to full-funnel launch strategy for major initiatives and new product lines.

  • Positioning & messaging: Own the segmentation and positioning frameworks that serve as the source of customer truth across product and marketing org-wide.

  • Research integration: Ensure research has a standing voice in product and executive decision-making, translating member insight into concrete product and marketing implications. This Research scope spans across market research, product research, and research operations.

  • Cross-functional & executive influence: Partner with Product, Growth, Brand, and Integrated Marketing leaders to align strategy and execution; represent PMM & Research in senior leadership and executive forums.

  • Business impact: Evaluate opportunities, set priorities, and drive measurable outcomes across acquisition, adoption, and retention for Personal Finance and Money.

Qualifications

What you’ll bring

  • 15+ years of product marketing experience in consumer technology, including 8-10 years people leadership managing managers and building teams; Fintech and B2C strongly preferred.

  • Track record of building a PMM function from the ground up — hiring, developing talent, and instilling operating rigor.

  • Deep expertise in product marketing fundamentals: segmentation, positioning, messaging, launch and E2E journeys and experiences.

  • Executive presence and a proven ability to influence and align senior cross-functional and leadership stakeholders.

  • Strong strategic and analytical horsepower — able to frame the right problems, extract insight from data, and convert it into decisive action.

  • Deep experience partnering with Research functions; experience directly overseeing a research function is a plus.
