What you'll build

Position title: Finance Specialist – Data Analyst (limited full-time)

Location: Prague, CZ

Duration: 12 months + possible prolongation (limited position)

Time schedule: 40 hours/week

  • Gather and analyze Global Digital O2C (Concur, Ariba Supplier, Training) data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within the order to cash process and conduct root cause analysis.
  • Develop insightful reports, dashboards, and visualizations to assist stakeholders in making informed business decisions.
  • Continuously monitor, assess, and adapt best practices as well as emerging technology trends (e.g. AI) related to order to cash analytics.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as sales, operations, finance, and customer service to provide actionable insights and drive process improvements.
  • Support month-end and quarter-end reporting activities to provide transparency along the O2C Digital process.

What you bring

  • High interest in understanding the big picture and processes end-to-end.
  • Understand the Global Digital O2C business, its strategy and requirements
  • Profound understanding of SAP’s and Finance strategy, portfolio, organizational structure as well as the Finance organization and with clear focus on the quote-to-cash process and its connection beyond the walls of Finance (e.g., Customer Success)
  • Ability to understand business needs and translate into concrete, outcome-focused actions.
  • Independent working style

Qualifications

  • Very good analytical skills and profound experiences in gathering, analyzing, understanding and preparing data insights
  • Storytelling skills around data and their impact on the business operations
  • Resilient working attitude and ability to work under pressure
  • Strong networking / relationship skills
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Advanced knowledge in SAP (ISP, I4P, BW) and excellent knowledge in Excel
  • Bachelor/Master’s degree in Economics is of benefit
  • At least, 3 years of finance-related experience

Where you belong

The Cash Collection Central Services Team is part of the Global Cash Collections Organization which is responsible for the entire account receivables process from when the invoice is delivered to SAP customers to when the actual payment is received. It includes processes like non-payment, dispute management, dunning procedure, customer qualification & blocking. The team drives standardization and automation to simplify the order to cash processes. We provide data insights on steering relevant and operational process KPIs to the regional teams as well as senior management, drive and lead projects across the organizations.

Our goal is to safeguard SAP’s overall cash flow performance and continuously drive modernization of SAP’s receivables management forward.
