We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Middleware Operations Engineer  to join our IT team based in Lisbon. 

  • The Senior Middleware Operations Engineer is responsible for ensuring the stability, support, and operational excellence of WSO2 and API Management services in production.
  • The role covers incident handling, troubleshooting, certificate and routing issue resolution, standard changes, monitoring review, and support for service continuity.
  • A key objective of the position is to strengthen the integration support team with a more experienced operations profile able to manage complex run issues and reinforce overall service resilience.
  • 5+ years of experience in middleware operations, API platform support, or integration production support
  • Proven experience with WSO2 and/or API Management platforms
  • Strong background in monitoring, incident management, troubleshooting, service restoration, and run support
  • Good knowledge of Linux, logs analysis, certificates, routing, and API gateway operational topics
  • Able to work autonomously on complex support cases in a critical environment
  • Experience in regulated or high-availability environments is a plus
  • Confirmed profile with 4 to 5 years of relevant hands-on experience
  • Fluent in english is mandatory

Hybrid work, - with50/50 days of work in the office in Parque das Nações , LISBON per week
