Our flagship Sydney campus is uniquely Canva - an extension of our Surry Hills neighbourhood. It’s a thoughtfully designed space with plenty of room to collaborate, focus and connect.

This role is based in Sydney, and we’re looking for someone who calls it home. Our hybrid way of working gives you the flexibility to work remotely and come together on campus for meaningful in-person collaboration and connection when it matters most. We trust our Canvanauts to choose the balance that empowers them and their team to achieve their goals.

What you’d be doing in this role

As Canva scales, change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that’s all part of the fun. This will give you a flavour of the kinds of things you’ll be working on when you start, knowing that the role will continue to evolve as we grow.

At the moment, this role is focused on:

• Building and executing strategic account plans: You’ll take a data-led approach to identifying high-potential organisations and creating thoughtful strategies to engage them. You’ll own outbound prospecting and pipeline generation, using market insights, customer signals and business priorities to build a healthy book of business.
• Owning the full enterprise sales cycle: You’ll lead opportunities from first conversation through to close, managing a complex pipeline, sales activity and revenue forecasts with discipline and accuracy.
• Creating customer-centred solutions: You’ll uncover the challenges, priorities and opportunities within each organisation and connect them to Canva’s value through compelling, personalised storytelling.
• Becoming a trusted Canva product expert: You’ll confidently demonstrate how Canva can solve meaningful business problems across teams and organisations. You’ll bring customer and market insights back into Canva to help strengthen our product, positioning and overall customer experience.
• Building lasting strategic relationships: You’ll develop trusted partnerships with senior customer stakeholders while working closely with teams across Canva, including Product, Engineering, Customer Success and other Sales and Success teams.
• Navigating complex organisations: You’ll identify stakeholders, understand decision-making processes and build alignment across multiple functions to progress sophisticated enterprise opportunities.
• Bringing clarity to complexity: You’ll turn complex customer challenges and ideas into simple, compelling narratives and customer-ready materials using Canva’s Visual Suite.

You’re probably a match if

• You bring 5+ years of Account Executive experience, with a strong track record of owning the full sales cycle, generating outbound pipeline and consistently winning new customers.
• You’ve successfully sold technology or SaaS solutions to mid-market and enterprise organisations, navigating multiple stakeholders and complex buying processes.
• You know how to build thoughtful account strategies, identify opportunities within complex organisations and turn those insights into action.
• You’re confident engaging senior and executive stakeholders and can adapt your approach to different audiences, whether you’re in a one-to-one conversation or presenting to a broader buying group.
• You’re a compelling storyteller who can translate customer challenges into a clear vision for how technology can create meaningful business impact.
• You have experience leading complex commercial negotiations and creating momentum through longer, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
• You’re comfortable working with data and sales tools to understand your business, maintain an accurate forecast and prioritise where you can make the biggest impact.
• You thrive in environments where things move quickly, priorities evolve and there isn’t always a predefined playbook.
• You’re naturally collaborative and know that the strongest enterprise partnerships are built by bringing the right people together, both inside Canva and across our customers.

Our Sales and Success team supports Canva Enterprise with a mission to empower every organisation to design.

Canva Enterprise helps organisations bring design, content creation and collaboration together within one secure and centralised platform. From presentations and docs to whiteboards, brand management and Magic Studio, we’re helping teams across organisations communicate visually, create together and move faster.

Our Enterprise Sales team works with customers to understand their biggest opportunities and challenges, demonstrate what’s possible with Canva and build partnerships that can grow over the long term. You’ll join a collaborative team that works closely across Sales and Success, Product, Engineering and our broader Canva community to help organisations unlock the value of visual communication at scale.
