Intuit internships are 12 weeks throughout the summer. We have fixed start and end dates that are designed to work with various universities’ academic calendars.

  • Cohort 1: Monday, May 17 - Friday, August 6, 2027 (12 weeks)

  • Cohort 2: Monday, June 14 - Friday September 3, 2027 (12 weeks)

The primary objective of our summer internship program is to bring highly talented people into the organization. Summer internships are a direct pipeline to full-time positions in strategic positions with frequent exposure to company leaders, core businesses and technologies – where you can quickly make meaningful contributions.

While each summer internship is unique, all roles offer the experience of a project which challenges you to apply your knowledge and expertise to real business problems. As this role involves constant interaction with senior non-finance stakeholders across the business, you need the confidence and emotional intelligence to effectively communicate at all levels. The ideal candidate has worked in the high-tech industry, enjoys operating in an extremely fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, and has the following experience and skills:

  • Excel/Financial modeling

  • Presentation skills (i.e. PowerPoint/Google Slides)

  • Strategic thinking

  • Intellectual curiosity + desire to learn


Responsibilities

  • Lead 3- and 1-year planning of Technology resources across the company, including resource allocation to drive highest priority business outcomes
  • Partner with Technology executives for end-to-end budget management, acting as their strategic finance thought partner
  • Partner with Go-to-Market, Analytics and Product teams to develop and refine our 3- and 1-year financial plans for various product offerings.
  • Drive business growth through strategic initiatives, monitoring key performance indicators and proactively highlighting risks and opportunities to achieve optimal investment decisions
  • Lead planning and forecasting processes by consolidating key business results, developing strategic data-driven insights that accelerate our growth trajectory, and creating executive presentations to deliver financial performance

Qualifications

  • Currentlyenrolled in an MBA program with an emphasis in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience within FP&A function or equivalent tenure from related positions in corporate finance, accounting, investment banking, consulting or strategy
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel to analyze complex business scenarios by building/improving financial models. Tableau and Hyperion Essbase experience a plus
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, simultaneously manage several priorities, and challenge the status quo to lead change and operational improvements
  • Attention to detail and ability to synthesize large volumes of data into insightful recommendations to the executive leadership team
  • Ability to influence all levels of leadership to drive actions, behaviors, decisions and business outcomes
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with experience in presenting to business partners with confidence, conviction and credibility
  • Grace under pressure with a good sense of humor and dose of humility

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing fair pay for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender. The expected base pay range for this position is: $43-48/hr.
