As Malt rapidly scales its business, protecting and optimizing our margins is key to sustainable growth. Joining our Finance team in Paris, you will play a pivotal role in building a robust Topline FP&A function and driving commercial performance. Partnering closely with Commercial teams and RevOps, you will oversee deal modeling, financial validation, and monthly closing routines to turn complex data into actionable commercial decisions.

Key responsibilities ✨

  • Deal Desk & RFP Modeling: Co-own financial deal modeling and economics validation alongside Senior FP&A, ensuring fast turnaround times (SLA <24h) for deal desk responses and accurate RFP documentation.

  • Topline Closings & Operations: Execute monthly topline closing mechanics, reconciliations, and reporting routines accurately and efficiently.

  • RFA Management: Oversee end-to-end processing, accruals, and reconciliations for Rebates (RFA), Accruals, and Inventory.

  • Bad Debt & Factoring: Monitor and calculate bad debt provisioning as well as optimize factoring fee calculations.

  • Process Automation & Scalability: Partner with internal tools and databases to eliminate repetitive manual tasks and build scalable financial workflows.

About you 🧑‍🚀

    Experience & Hard Skills:

    • Background: Proven experience in FP&A or Business Finance, with strong experience in financial modeling and profitability analysis.

    • FP&A Operations: Hands-on experience with topline closings, internal & external reportings.

    • Tooling Proficiency: Strong command of Excel (or Gsheet) and financial tools (Pigment/Anaplan). Database query (SQL / DBeaver) & BI tools (Looker) are a plus

    • Soft Skills & Mindset:

      • Commercial Partnering: Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with Commercial and RevOps teams while enforcing deal desk governance.

      • Reactivity & Speed: Maintain high accuracy on strategic & high-stakes deals

      • Automation Mindset: Continuous-improvement mindset with a strong preference for building scalable automated solutions over manual workarounds.
