Description

Job Title: Senior Project Director

Employment Type: Full-Time

Description

We are seeking a Senior Project Director to lead the delivery of large-scale, multi-country Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP implementations for our global clients. This is a senior delivery leadership role within our Oracle Practice, accountable for program P&L, client satisfaction, and delivery quality across engagements that typically span multiple years.

You will act as the senior delivery executive on strategic accounts — the trusted advisor to the client's CIO/CFO, the escalation point for the our delivery team, and the commercial owner of the engagement. The ideal candidate has run Oracle Fusion programs from the consulting side, understands the commercial mechanics of fixed-price engagements, and can lead blended onshore/offshore teams across time zones.

Key Responsibilities

Engagement Delivery & Program Leadership

· Serve as Engagement Director / Program Director on one or more concurrent Oracle Fusion ERP rollouts, accountable for end-to-end delivery across all phases (Discover, Design, Build, Test, Deploy, Hypercare).

· Own the master program plan, critical path, and milestone commitments across all workstreams (Finance, SCM, Procurement, Technical/Integrations, Data).

· Drive adherence to Oracle Cloud implementation methodology (e.g., OUM / Oracle True Cloud Method).

· Chair steering committees and provide executive-level status reporting to client sponsors; manage scope, change requests, and expectation alignment.

· Lead Go/No-Go decisions, cutover planning, and hypercare exit criteria for each country wave.

Commercial & P&L Ownership

· Manage scope creep and change control rigorously; price and negotiate Change Orders with client procurement.

· Lead/support pursuit teams on proposals, RFP responses, solution shaping, and estimating for new Oracle Fusion opportunities.

· Identify and drive add-on revenue (extensions, additional country waves, managed services, advisory).

· Manage subcontractor and offshore team cost (e.g., Oracle, data migration tooling, testing partners).

Client & Stakeholder Management

· Act as the primary senior relationship owner for client executives; build and sustain C-level trust.

· Navigate client politics and conflicting regional priorities, balancing global template standardization against local legal/statutory needs.

· Manage difficult conversations: delivery slippage, budget overruns, resource changes, and scope disputes — with a solutions-oriented approach that protects both the relationship and the firm's margin.

Team & Practice Leadership

· Lead large, matrixed delivery teams of [50+] consultants, including onshore/offshore/nearshore resources and client-side staff.

· Mentor and develop Project Managers, Engagement Managers, and functional/technical leads; contribute to succession planning in the practice.

· Partner with Resource Management to staff engagements, resolve utilization conflicts, and manage bench/ramp decisions.

· Contribute to practice assets: delivery accelerators, estimation models, reusable templates, and lessons-learned libraries.

· Support capability building, hiring, and performance management within the Oracle practice.

Risk, Quality & Delivery Assurance

· Own risk and issue management at the engagement level; escalate appropriately to firm leadership and client sponsors.

· Ensure delivery quality standards, testing rigor (SIT/UAT), and documentation compliance.

· Lead recovery efforts on troubled engagements (or support them as a delivery assurance lead) where required.

· Ensure compliance with firm policies on contracting, risk, data privacy, and independence.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

· Experience: 20+ years in consulting/IT services delivery, with at least 6–8 years leading large-scale Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP implementations on the system integrator or consulting side.

· Global Rollouts: Demonstrated track record delivering multi-country, multi-wave ERP programs for global clients — ideally across multiple continents and legal entities.

· Methodology: Deep familiarity with Oracle Unified Method (OUM) / True Cloud Method and/or equivalent ERP delivery frameworks. PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile certifications preferred.

· Module Breadth: Working knowledge of Oracle Fusion modules (Financials, Procurement, SCM) and technical components (OIC, reporting, data migration).

· Executive Presence: Strong CxO-level communication, negotiation, and influence skills.

· Team Leadership: Experience leading blended onshore/offshore teams of 50+ across multiple time zones.
