Job Description:
As part of the Audience Marketing team, we're looking for a strategic and customer-obsessed Senior Marketing Manager, Customer Advocacy, to build and scale one of Darktrace's most important growth engines.
This role is responsible for building customer proof which turns customer outcomes into the stories, references, reviews, speakers, and insights that strengthen Darktrace's market leadership, accelerate Secure AI adoption, and help customers learn from one another.
You will own Darktrace's global advocacy strategy, partnering across multiple core stakeholders, partners and customers to capture meaningful customer outcomes, and activate those voices across every stage of the customer journey.
This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to shape how Darktrace showcases customer success as we define the future of AI security.
What You'll Do
Build and scale Darktrace's customer advocacy program
Own the global strategy for customer stories, references, speakers, peer reviews, customer insights, and advocacy engagement.
Lead the evolution of our advocacy technology stack and develop AI-powered and agentic workflows that help employees discover customer insights, identify advocates, surface proof points, and fulfill advocacy requests more efficiently.
Develop programs that identify, recruit, nurture, and activate customer champions globally.
Build lasting relationships with customer champions and executive stakeholders, creating a community of advocates who are eager to share their experiences and support Darktrace's growth.
Create customer proof that drives growth
Build a global pipeline of customer stories, proof points, testimonials, and success stories that align to our most important revenue priorities. Partner with Regional Marketing to scale this framework and workflow.
Partner with Demand-Generation, Corporate Affairs, Brand, Analyst Relations, and Sales teams to ensure customer proof supports key business priorities.
Help bring customer voices into campaigns, events, analyst engagements, media opportunities, and sales motions.
Strengthen Darktrace's market credibility
Own global peer review programs across Gartner Peer Insights and G2.
Support customer participation in analyst evaluations, executive engagements, speaking opportunities, and strategic reference activities.
Measure and report advocacy impact across program participation, content creation, reviews, and business influence.
What You'll Bring
8+ Years in B2B SaaS Marketing and 5+ years specializing in Customer Advocacy or Customer Marketing. Cyber security preferred.
Proven experience building or scaling customer advocacy and customer storytelling programs, including developing customer stories, references, reviews, speakers, or executive advocacy initiatives.
Passion and ideas of how to implement AI-first ways of working, with experience leveraging AI tools and agentic workflows to drive productivity, uncover insights, streamline operations, and scale customer engagement programs.
Strong cross-functional leadership skills and experience working across Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success organizations.
Experience with advocacy platforms, CRM systems, and marketing technologies such as Champion, Salesforce, Gainsight, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and program management skills.
Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-moving environment.
Strong relationship management across internal and external network
