Description

SHADOW is looking for a Manager to join our growing corporate and executive visibility team. This role is ideal for someone with 6-8 years of experience who loves shaping narratives, thrives in fast-moving environments, and is passionate about helping brands and leaders tell meaningful stories. You’ll be responsible for supporting and executing corporate media and executive thought leadership strategies across a range of clients while also contributing to the agency’s broader efforts in this space.

You must have experience with developing compelling corporate narratives and executive profiles, an understanding of the business media landscape, awareness of SHADOW’s clients in the space (spanning industries including Fashion & Retail, Beauty, CPG, Spirits, Hospitality & more) and a strong sense of how those clients and their executives can best position themselves to their target audiences. This role is client-facing but also central to the evolution and execution of this service offering across the agency.

What You Bring:

  • A strategic mindset: You think beyond the press release. You bring fresh, forward-thinking approaches to building corporate reputations and executive profiles across media, awards, and thought leadership platforms. You’ve led and secured high-impact placements, profiles, and recognition in top-tier business outlets.
  • Established industry connections: You're a true connector. You bring a deep bench of contacts across business, trade, and broadcast media, as well as industry events, conferences, and podcasts, and you know how to turn relationships into results.
  • Strong written and verbal skills: You can distill complex ideas into clear, persuasive narratives. From op-eds and award submissions to press materials and executive briefings, your writing is crisp, compelling, and on-brand.
  • A proven track record: We will want to see examples of breakthrough campaigns, activations, and placements that you’ve personally led that made an impact for your clients and a splash in the space.
  • Organization and composure under pressure: You can juggle multiple workstreams with polish and poise. You bring structure to chaos and thrive in fast-paced environments, consistently meeting deadlines and communicating effectively with senior executives.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead client engagement: Serve as a senior partner to clients, offering sharp strategic counsel and trusted execution. You’ll own relationships and lead day-to-day communications, driving progress and impact.
  • Drive media strategy and execution: Lead the development of executive visibility roadmaps, identify and pitch strategic media and speaking opportunities, and act quickly to create or respond to news - not only for your own clients but across the agency.
  • Manage and multitask: Effectively manage the daily workflow of three to six accounts simultaneously, while also driving consistent results. You’ll communicate account priorities and thoughtfully work in collaboration with others.
  • Elevate the agency’s offering: As a steward of corporate and executive communications within the agency, you’ll help institutionalize best practices, build internal tools, share opportunities, and contribute thought leadership that benefits the agency and our clients alike.
