Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is expanding one of the world’s largest cloud infrastructure footprints. The Global Order Fulfillment & Logistics team enables that growth by moving critical infrastructure—from suppliers and manufacturing sites to 3PL facilities and Oracle data centers—reliably, efficiently, and at global scale.
We are seeking a Senior Logistics Program Manager to lead transportation operations and improvement initiatives supporting key OCI deployments. This is an individual-contributor role for a hands-on logistics leader who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, global environment: managing critical shipments, solving problems across teams, and building more scalable transportation processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead transportation execution for critical domestic and international OCI infrastructure shipments, from dispatch through delivery.
- Partner with deployment, warehouse, data center, procurement, trade compliance, and supplier teams to ensure infrastructure arrives on schedule.
- Proactively identify and resolve shipment risks, carrier issues, capacity constraints, and delivery delays; lead escalations for high-priority movements.
- Use transportation and operational data to improve on-time delivery, shipment visibility, cost efficiency, and carrier performance.
- Manage transportation-related programs and process-improvement initiatives from planning through implementation.
- Develop clear performance reporting and communicate operational status, risks, and recommendations to cross-functional leaders.
- Help improve how OCI uses Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) and related tools for planning, execution, reporting, and automation.
- Support carrier and logistics-provider performance management, including service-level tracking and continuous-improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to reverse-logistics and asset-recovery transportation programs as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain operations, global freight, or a related field, preferably within a hyperscale datacenter growth industry
- Experience managing domestic and international freight movements in a complex, high-volume environment.
- Strong understanding of carrier operations, transportation planning, shipment visibility, and transportation risk management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional programs without direct authority.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn operational data into practical action.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly with both operational teams and senior stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) or another transportation management system.
- Experience supporting data center, cloud infrastructure, high-tech manufacturing, or similarly time-critical supply chains.
- Experience with reverse logistics, returns, repairs, RMAs, or asset recovery.
- Experience using SQL, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or comparable analytics and reporting tools.
- Experience improving logistics processes through automation, predictive analytics, or AI-enabled tools.
- Experience working with global carriers, freight forwarders, 3PLs, and logistics suppliers.
