Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitLab.
  • Support and improve deployment processes using tools like XL Deploy and XL Release.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Unix scripting to enhance system efficiency and reliability.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams working with Java and legacy technologies such as Cobol.
  • Support and maintain development environments, including tools like Eclipse and Visual Cobol.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of applications.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of DevOps practices, processes, and tooling.
  • Work within Agile teams, ensuring smooth integration between development and operations.
  • Document processes, configurations, and solutions to support knowledge sharing.
  • Proven experience in DevOps or similar roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab.
  • Experience with deployment tools like XL Deploy and XL Release is a plus.
  • Solid knowledge of Unix/Linux environments and scripting.
  • Familiarity with Java and legacy technologies such as Cobol.
  • Experience working with development tools like Eclipse and Visual Cobol is valued.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and collaborative team environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and proactive mindset.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in English (spoken and written).
