We are looking for a DBA to assist a client with database optimization and stability, with a focus on the Ticket and FIT applications.

These databases experience high spikes in usage, especially at the end of the month, which can cause slowdowns or outages with a significant impact on the business. The goal is to ensure performance, availability, and operational continuity.

Key responsibilities:

  • Monitor and optimize database performance
  • Respond to peak load scenarios and critical incidents
  • Prevent failures and minimize business impact
  • Monitor and optimize database performance
  • Address incidents of slow performance or outages, especially during peak times
  • Analyze and improve queries and indexes
  • Ensure backups, restores, and service continuity
  • Support application teams in maintaining solution stability
  • Experience as an SQL DBA in production environments
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server (performance, indexes, and queries)
  • Experience monitoring and resolving performance issues
  • Knowledge of database backup, restore, and maintenance
  • Experience in high-availability environments or with critical systems (preferred)
