Duties and Responsibilities:


As part of the R&D SDx department, reporting to the SDx R&D Manager, you will serve as Developer responsible for building and enhancing the software stack of our centralized Network Management System (NMS) called Director. The Director application enables to manage and monitor our SD-WAN, Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), Security Service Edge (SSE) and Firewall solutions. You will work closely with product owners and software architects to develop scalable and maintainable applications and edge management systems. Your responsibilities will include the following:


  • Designing, developing, and optimizing C/C++ components for packet processing, telemetry and management of network functions (routing, ACL/Firewall, QoS, NAT, VPN, etc.) of routers and SD‑WAN/SASE/NMS solutions.
  • Conducting performance analysis (CPU/memory profiling, latency/throughput measurements, lock contention analysis)
  • Working on scalability challenges: high‑session‑volume architectures, multi‑threaded/multi‑core optimization, resilience, observability, and system tuning.
  • Contributing to software industrialization: CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI).
  • Developing unit, integration, performance, and endurance tests, and contributing to clear and robust technical documentation.
  • Participating in Agile ceremonies (planning, stand‑ups, reviews, retrospectives) within distributed international teams.

Profile and skills:


To carry out the role of a Network Applications Developer, a candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in C/C++ development on Linux for high‑performance network applications.
  • Excellent understanding of IP protocols (IPv4/IPv6, TCP/UDP) and network application development (sockets, asynchronous I/O, event‑driven architectures).
  • Practical experience with network configuration and management interfaces (NETCONF/YANG, CWMP, SNMP, CLI).
  • Strong skills in profiling and optimization and deep understanding of memory management, concurrency, and performance constraints.
  • Hands‑on experience in Python development, including scripting, automation, or integration tooling.
  • Experience with containers , Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Version Control: Strong familiarity with Git workflows


Nice to Have


  • Experience with SQL databases or TimeSeries database
  • Knowledge of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira.
