The challenge

Based in Lehi, Utah, Adobe’s Western Region Security Manager supports the resiliency of Adobe’s offices on the West Coast. You will be charged with developing operational objectives, participating with other managers/teams in crafting, and supporting strategic plans for the western region. Moreover, implement various programs to reduce risk and build exceptional employee experiences. The Area Security Manager's responsibilities are:

The Area Sr. Security Manager for the Western Region will be responsible for the security operations across multiple locations in North America. Responsibilities include reviewing, implementing, and maintaining security policies and procedures to ensure the safety and protection of personnel, assets, and facilities. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of security risk management, emergency response, incident management, and coordination with local law enforcement and emergency services. The manager must proactively assess and respond to potential threats.

This position is based at Adobe’s Lehi office in Lehi, UT, and reports to the Regional Director, Safety & Security – Americas & Global Security Operations Center.

What you’ll do

  • Collaborate with the Regional Director of Safety and Security to set objectives and lead security operations at regional sites
  • Work in unison with regional peers to establish uniformed, scalable programs that embody consistency
  • Build relationships with executives, site leaders, and cross-functional teams to influence compliance and improve security programs
  • Act as liaison between security and local teams to align on site and security objectives
  • Conduct security and safety audits at regional locations and address vulnerabilities
  • Perform Security and Health & Safety Assessments and manage corrective actions.
  • Manage the budget, security vendors, and approve invoices and expenses
  • Investigate policy violations, misconduct, and criminal activity
  • Lead and implement incident management programs and support business continuity during emergencies
  • Partner with facilities and teams to support employee programs and services
  • Coordinate safety committees, prepare reports, and supervise mitigation activities.
  • Respond to and report incidents such as theft, alarms, and injuries
  • Lead new employee orientation and assist with ergonomics and EH&S programs
  • Arrange emergency response and safety training programs
  • Provide security support for office projects and vendor coordination.
  • Ensure alignment with corporate policies and department guidelines
  • Build relationships with local law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency teams
  • Develop and conduct employee safety and security training programs
  • Oversee a safe and secure environment at corporate events

What you need to succeed

  • Experience making life-safety decisions, with demonstrated expertise in corporate security operations, corporate investigations, and security leadership preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required, with at least 10 years of related work experience, including 5 years in corporate security management
  • Ability to evaluate risks, influence leadership, and build solutions, think creatively
  • Strong customer service focus with a strive to build programs that improve brand reputation and employee experience
  • Proven track record managing security teams, vendors, and contractors, with expertise in security systems, incident response, and risk management
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to engage and to communicate effectively with senior leadership, site managers, and external partners
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of leading emerging security challenges
  • Familiarity with security technologies, including surveillance, access control, and alarm systems
  • Incident or crisis management experience, including coordinating with emergency services and law enforcement
  • Ability to respond to and handle security incidents, including site and risk assessments
  • Willingness to decent and commit to supporting projects in a fast paced and dynamic environment

Expected Pay Range:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $128,000 - $245,300 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
