Estimated salary: how we compute it
When a listing states no salary, the site proposes an estimate, marked “estimated” wherever it appears. It comes neither from the employer nor from a third-party site.
We compare the listing with similar listings that do state a salary: same function, same experience level, same area, same contract, same sector and a comparable company size. The references are this site's listings and France Travail's over the last eighteen months.
The range reflects the error we measured: “50% between A and B” means that half of the comparable listings set aside to check the calculation did state a salary within that interval. An estimate is only shown when it is precise enough; internships, apprenticeships and freelance assignments never get one.

Automatic, indicative extraction; monthly salaries and freelance day rates are converted to a yearly equivalent. Internships and apprenticeships are excluded: their allowances are not salaries. A group with fewer than 10 listings shows no median.
